Govanhill Housing Association provides a comprehensive range of services focused on the needs of tenants and owner occupiers in the Govanhill and Merrylee communities. We carry out acquisition and improvement of tenemental stock as well as delivering a new build programme. We work closely with our subsidiary company, Govanhill Community Development Trust, whose community development and regeneration services complement our own role as a social landlord.
Our Samaritan House office provides a very busy reception service dealing with a wide variety of queries from tenants, housing applicants, and other customers.
Due to the current staff member being recruited to a promoted post, we are seeking a Receptionist / Clerical Assistant to work within our small team to deal with enquiries from customers in a friendly and efficient manner. The successful candidate will be someone who has experience of dealing with customers both face to face and on the telephone and who is also comfortable carrying out administrative functions and making full use of our systems to record interactions with customers.
Experience of working in a similar role would be advantageous but is not essential. A commitment to and experience of dealing with customers is required.
As the Govanhill area has a diverse community, the ability to speak a community language is also desirable.
If you share our commitment to providing excellent services to our customers in Govanhill and Merrylee and would enjoy working within this diverse community, you can find further information in the Application Pack which can be obtained from our website or contact:
