A Top UK Law Firm is seeking an experienced Compliance Manager to join their vibrant team in Surrey!

If you have managerial experience within a legal environment and an eagerness to support an expansive risk and compliance function, this may be the role for you.
Within this role you will assist the firmwide risk management function, ensuring best practice is implemented at all levels. Equally, you will be supporting team members in their day-to-day responsibilities, offering mentorship and guidance where required. You’ll need expert client management skills as you will take primary ownership of formal complaints received by the firm.
Some responsibilities
* Monitor legislative/regulatory changes and ensure policies/procedures are promptly updated
* Assess and provide recommendations for improvements to the risk management process
* Oversee the end-to-end complaints process
* Conduct legal analysis and research of claims and complaints to assess potential risks
* Contribute to ad-hoc compliance investigations and projects as required
* Liaise with internal and external legal professionals to gain strategic insight into litigation
* Support the team in data protection and regulatory obligations
We’re looking for someone who puts clients first, communicates well, and can handle pressure while working independently. They should be highly organised, meet deadlines with ease, and have experience managing their time and leading others effectively. A natural problem-solver, who will bring focus and leadership to any team is the ideal candidate for this role.
