Up to £37,000 dependent on experience It’s an exciting time to join our Policy Wording team here at AXA Health as a Policy Wording and Technical Specialist. We’ve significant investment planned in all UK&I businesses to transform, deliver new digital services to our customers and streamline and automate our business processes. Reporting to the Policy Wording and Technical Manager, you’ll draft and oversee policy wordings and technical wording content for existing products, new propositions, enhanced products and associated ad hoc strategic activity. You’ll ensure they comply with internal and external regulation and governance in terms of policy wording and technical product wording within technical literature (including regulatory disclosure) across UK portfolio. You'll work at least 40% of your week away from home, moving to the majority of your working week from September 2025. Away from home means either attendance at our Tunbridge Wells office, visiting clients or attending industry events. What you’ll be doing: Develop policy wording and technical wordings for all new and existing AXA Health products. Carry out detailed analysis feasibility, general impact and dependencies of changes being considered or agreed by PSC providing recommendations to line manager for onward transmission regarding implementation approach, risks and mitigation. Support working groups and PSC and ensure accurate feedback of actions to ensure compliance and delivery of relevant items into the drafting of our products which protects AXA Health against legal and regulatory risks. Create drafting of Product Review rule and benefit changes and respond to queries from Sales. Provide technical support and advice to the wider business on queries such as interpretation of handbooks, rules and contractual obligations to ensure effective management of customer queries and complaints and avoiding further escalation. Identify areas of process improvement and redesign within the policy wording and technical team’s processes, understand the impact on stakeholders of the process and recommend and implement solutions. Provide support in the management of the internal communication of changes at each Product Review. Manage the mechanism by which changes to third partys i.e. Equipsme are identified and to plan changes to those products as agreed between AXA Health and the third party. What we’re looking for: Ability to work with limited supervision with responsibility for supporting the day to day work load within the Product Management team. Excellent written, oral communication skills and numeracy/analytical skills. Market and strategic awareness. Communicate, influence and manage relationships. Creative, innovative thinker focussed on improvements to processes and delivery and working of the Product Governance and Policy Wording function. FCA/PRA/Brand/competitor knowledge. Understanding of FCA expectations in terms of customer outcomes. A good understanding of the wider regulatory environment that AXA Health operates in. Knowledge of AXA Health policies and practices.
