The role Southern Housing are looking for a Senior Care Worker to join our Scheme at Ryde Village, Ryde, Isle of Wight. As Senior Care Worker you will assist the Registered Manager onsite to deliver a high level of care for our elderly and frail residents, ensuring care is compliant with CQC regulations and that all Health & Safety protocol is adhered to. This role is a full-time position, and will require a Valid UK Driving License and access to your own vehicle."This role will entail shift work including night shifts from 8pm-8am, and day shifts 7.45am-8pm. What you'll be doing" " To support the Registered Manager and Deputy Manager to line manage staff including supervision, appraisals, absence monitoring, and providing them with appropriate support and training to ensure their continuing personal and professional development as well as compliance with regulations" Maintain awareness of all legislative and contractual agreements for effective and quality service provision." Monitor and assist with the development of resident involvement, daily activities and social inclusion within the wider community." Assist the Registered Manager and deputy manager in the assessment of potential residents if required." Provide care to residents, as identified in their person-centred care plan as necessary. This will include intimate personal care."
