High-Quality Food Services
We're seeking an ambitious Chef to join our team at Eurest, a market-leading food service company in the UK. As a Chef, you will be responsible for preparing and serving exceptional food experiences for our clients and customers on a part-time basis, contracted to 27 hours per week.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver High-Quality Food: Prepare delicious, high-quality food that delights our clients and customers, meeting the highest standards of taste and presentation.
* Menu Development: Oversee and implement menu changes, identifying opportunities to improve our food services and staying up-to-date with the latest culinary trends.
* Customer Feedback: Listen and act on customer feedback to consistently improve our food services, ensuring that every customer has a positive experience.
* Team Support: Support your team with the creation of new menus and creative food concepts, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
* Brand Representation: Represent Eurest and maintain a positive brand image, embodying our values of quality, innovation, and customer satisfaction.
* Inventory Management: Monitor inventories to keep our kitchens well-stocked, ensuring that we have the necessary ingredients and supplies to deliver exceptional food experiences.
* Cleaning and Hygiene: Oversee kitchen cleaning responsibilities to maintain hygiene standards, ensuring a clean and safe environment for our customers and staff.
* Regulatory Compliance: Comply with Food Handling, Hygiene, and Health and Safety regulations, ensuring that we meet the highest standards of food safety and quality.
Requirements
* Culinary Expertise: Be passionate about great-tasting food and exceptional customer service, with a strong understanding of culinary principles and practices.
* Qualifications: Hold a City & Guilds 706/1 & 2 or NVQ equivalent, demonstrating your commitment to culinary excellence.
* Leadership Experience: Have experience supervising a team, with a proven track record of leadership and team management.
* Chef Experience: Have experience in a similar Chef role, with a strong understanding of kitchen operations and management.
* Food Hygiene: Hold a Food Hygiene certificate, ensuring that you have the necessary knowledge and skills to maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment.
* Flexibility: Have a flexible approach to working, with the ability to adapt to changing circumstances and priorities.
