The Communications Manager is a pivotal role in driving the not-for-profit organisation's messaging and brand forward. This role requires a creative and strategic individual who is capable of managing the marketing and agency department and effectively communicating the company's mission and goals. Client Details The organisation is a well-established not-for-profit entity with more than 500 staff members. It operates on a national level with a strong emphasis on improving community well-being and delivering impactful services. Based in Manchester, it has a significant presence across the UK. Description Develop and implement effective communication strategies that align with the company's goals and mission. Lead and manage the marketing and agency department. Work closely with the senior leadership team across both organisations to advise on, and deliver, all areas of communication and engagement. Oversee the production of all promotional materials and marketing campaigns. Stay informed of best practices and emerging trends in communications, advocacy, and public affairs Communicate and engage with stakeholders on a regular basis. Coordinate with the media, public relations and events coordinators to ensure coverage on local and national levels. Analyse and report on the effectiveness of communications strategies. Uphold the values and mission of the not-for-profit organisation at all times. Profile A successful Communications Manager should have: A degree in Communications, Marketing, or a related field. Proven experience in a managerial role within a marketing or communications department. Strong knowledge of communication practices and techniques. Outstanding written and verbal communication skills. The ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines. Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with design software (Photoshop, InDesign). Job Offer A competitive salary of £38,000 to £46,000 per annum.
