As our teams grow, we are on the lookout for our next Project Development Manager.
As we embark on a journey of growth, this role will be crucial to project manage the NPD process, collaborate with our creative team and development technologists to develop new product ideas and upgrade current products, managing these from concept through to launch.
Every day is different at TBF, but here are some of the things you will be doing:
1. Manage the development stage and gate process from concept to launch in accordance with our and customers’ development processes, ensuring that launch date is achieved.
2. Ensure project briefs are approved for prior to any work starting on product(s). These will take the form of a development brief and prior to sign off from the BFF.
3. Agreeing and managing critical paths for project/product launch and following the internal TBF NPD process, as well as the customer specific NPD process requirements, as defined in their development guidelines.
4. Update project progress to the wider team, via weekly project progress meetings against the critical paths to ensure any issues are raised.
5. Ensure we have carried out due diligence for all product launches.
6. You will be the main point of contact with the customers, keeping the Food teams, Commercial teams and/or retail customers updated on development progress, development presentations and reviews and the building of strong relationships.
7. Manage the project workflow in conjunction with the Product and Process Development Manager (kitchen & process) to deliver against agreed timelines.
8. Lead cross-functional meetings to ensure launches progress to a high level of product quality, breaking down next steps with key stakeholders and recommending solutions to mitigate risk, and escalate when appropriate.
9. Keep stakeholders accountable to their deadlines, flag & flex, escalate, drive progress, and remove obstacles when required.
10. Maintain excellent working relationships with key stakeholders.
11. Onboard relevant stakeholders and get their buy-in to projects.

3. Key stakeholders are aware of project status and are informed of any blockers to help facilitate resolution of issues.
4. Able to hold project participants accountable for completing actions against agreed timelines.
5. Accurate product costings are delivered.
6. Artwork and packaging are right first time.
7. Cross-functional team ways of working & feedback.
