We are looking to recruit a Finance Manager to join our busy finance team in assisting the Head of Finance in the development and operation of the college’s financial strategy.
The Finance Manager will have responsibility for the college’s financial viability and long-term sustainability through financial accounting of the college including management accounts, statutory accounts, funding body returns, cash flow and taxation matters. The Finance Manager will support the Head of Finance in promoting excellent financial management and internal control as well as ensuring continuous improvement and the effective and efficient delivery of all finance services.
The successful candidate will hold qualified/finalist accountant status along with experience of producing month and year-end accounts, operational and strategic budget management, and successfully managing detailed cash flow.
A teaching qualification would be an advantage or a commitment to undertake this within the first year of employment is essential.
