Teaching Assistant Behavioural Support

Vision for Education are currently recruiting for an individual with a background in supporting children and young people who display social, emotional and behavioural difficulties (SEBD).
The school requires a teaching assistant to work with pupils on a 1:1 basis and in small groups. The school is requesting a positive, patient, resilient individual who wants to make a difference in these children and young people's lives. Being adaptable and flexible is essential within this role as you could be working with a range of ages from 11 to 18 years. Experience or a Team Teach qualification or equivalent is desirable and would be beneficial; however, it is not essential. As part of registering with Vision for Education, we can provide this training.

* Confidence in working on a 1:1 basis or in small groups.
* Able to remain calm under pressure.
* Ability to work well in a team and alongside the class teacher to support the needs of the pupils.
