I'm working with a great business based in Wickford looking for a part time Accounts Assistant. Ideally the role would be (phone number removed)pm but could be flexibiity around this.
Key responsibilities will include:
Running of daily invoices & monthly statements
Taking customer telephone calls and solving queries such as missing invoices & payment queries
Taking and processing customer payments, inputting receipts onto customer accounts
All aspects of credit control including chasing overdue payments by telephone, documenting accurate information on agreements and re-payment schedules
Raising credit notes
Processing purchase invoices
Processing staff expenses and credit cards
Processing and reconciling petty cash expenditures
Providing general all-round support in all areas of accounts administration
Knowledge & Skills will include:
Previous accounts administration experience preferred
Speaking over the telephone & making calls to provide a high level of customer support
Computer literate with Microsoft Office
Able to multi-task and adapt to a varied and challenging role
