What came first, the chicken or the egg? Join Moy Park and you might just find the answer to that question!
As part of our continued growth, we are looking to expand the size of our team to meet the requirements of work demands, so we’re looking for individuals to help and support to farms during labour intensive operations and to contribute towards the final product - maximum numbers of high-quality hatching eggs with high hatchability.
In this varied role, you will work as part of the Breeder Service Team, alongside other farm colleagues when vaccinating and transferring the birds to the laying farm. No two days will be the same, as you’ll also be on hand to provide support with chick placement, bird grading and weighing, flock transshipment, egg collecting and sampling when the flock allows. You could say, you’ll become an eggspert of poultry in Moy Park!
We’re looking for individuals who can work with minimal supervision and enjoy a ‘hands-on’ role in a farming environment. A keen interest in farming, where animal welfare is of the upmost most importance will mean that you match our values and your passion for learning will ensure that you can continue to acquire new skills.
You’ll also need a Driving Licence (a shared work van is provided)
This role is a 5 from 7 shift pattern, with a sixth day as required by the needs of the business, covering 40 hours a week.
Overtime payable at x 1.5 standard rate
