Part of Crimson Hotels, The Trafalgar St. James, Curio Collection by Hilton is a 5 Star hotel with 131 bedrooms including 3 signature suites, and a number of venues consisting of our unique Rooftop bar and Rockwell that pride themselves in the quality of food service that they provide.
The Role
As a Breakfast Waiter/Waitress, you will play a key part in making our guests' experience one they will always remember. You will need to ensure you demonstrate a thorough understanding of all menu items provided.
You will also - but not be limited to:
* Identify opportunities for up-selling and promoting when appropriate.
* To assist with the smooth and efficient operation on the restaurant floor, ensuring facilities are maintained to the standards required.
* To anticipate guest’s needs, and to carry out these requests in a courteous and helpful manner. Look to resolve all complaints during each shift and log complaints for further follow up.
* Work well as a team to ensure swift and efficient service to all our guests.
* Complete quality Mise en Place including cleaning, setups, and handovers.
* Report and follow up on any comments and guest queries as they occur.
The Individual
An ideal candidate is a person with a clear passion for service. Someone who engages with guests easily and is able to use their intuition and creativity to deliver a wonderful experience for everyone. The ability to multitask and prioritise is important, as well as the ability to work well under pressure with the biggest smile. You will have excellent verbal and written communication skills, produce quality work and be flexible to work early morning shifts.
Although experience within a similar environment is preferable, we look for attitude, quality, and interpersonal skills rather than experience as we will give you the tools to ensure you are successful in your role.
