NHS Sussex Integrated Care Board have an excitingopportunity for an experienced candidate to join the Emergency Preparedness,Resilience and Response (EPRR) team, managing all aspects of EPRR within theNHS, specialising in training and exercising and business continuity programmedelivery. This role will provide supportto the Deputy Head of EPRR ensuring EPRR work streams and programmes of workare delivered.
Main duties of the job
When in post you will work as part of a dynamic team to deliver an effective EPRR service, supporting managers and staff across the Integrated Care Board and wider Integrated Care System, to ensure a robust and resilient NHS response to any incident or event. You will also manage all aspects of the EPRR training and exercising portfolio including development and delivery of the training and exercising plan and schedule, ensuring it is aligned to key risks and NHS core standards. You will represent health and work with multi-agency partners within the Local Resilience Forum in Sussex.
The successful candidate will be proactive and able to workindependently as well as part of a team, have previous experience in EPRR andideally have experience of working within the NHS. They will also need to be educatedto masters level or equivalent, such as the Diploma in Health EPRR.

9. Evidence of post qualifying and continuing professional development
10. Must understand the background to and aims of current healthcare policy and appreciate the implications of this on engagement.
11. Should have an understanding of the relationship between the NHS England, provider, and commissioning organisations.
