Promethean Particles is a global pioneer in the development and scale manufacturing of high-specification advanced materials. Our mission is to help decarbonise the world by unleashing the potential of metal-organic frameworks (MOFs).
We are a fast-growing R&D organisation developing nano-materials for industrial applications. We are a small company, and the project management discipline is in its infancy, so you will have the real opportunity to mould how it develops through the life of our fast-growing startup.
You don't need to have a background in chemistry, but you will need to show evidence of working in a highly technical environment as the ability to grasp and communicate technical information will be critical in the role.
As with many fast-growing small companies, things change quickly - so you need to be able to pivot and be comfortable with new ideas and approaches. It's your opportunity to make your mark, bringing your unique ideas and combining your education and experience to build a project management function that will adapt as this company grows.
As well as managing customer and internal projects, you will also play a key role in managing grant-funded projects, so experience in this area is very helpful.
Requirements
* Already fully eligible to work in the UK, and able to work full-time onsite in Nottingham.
* Bachelor's degree or equivalent, ideally in a related field of science (chemistry, engineering).
* Experience managing projects in a scientific or engineering sector.
* Experience managing grant-funded projects.
