This current vacancy is for an Assistant Manager in our Corporate Tax Advisory and Compliance (‘CTAC’) team based in Manchester with a focus on clients based in the Real Estate sector.
While the role is working primarily with the Manchester team, there is also the opportunity to work with our national Real Estate team and overseas member firms. The client base comprises of developers and investors in UK Real Estate, both from the UK and overseas.
What will you be doing?
1. Being one of the main points of contact on a portfolio of clients on day-to-day tax matters (both compliance and advisory) and working with Senior Managers and Managers on our larger client accounts
2. Undertaking tax advisory projects, including providing UK corporation tax advice based on experience, researching technical topics, working with other areas of UK tax and our overseas members firms to incorporate their input into our advice.
3. Ensuring our clients are kept up to date with emerging corporate and wider tax developments impacting their business.
4. The delivery of UK corporation tax compliance services
5. Supervising the work of junior members of staff and providing coaching to support their development.
6. Assisting our Managers and Senior Managers with client account management, including complying with appropriate quality and risk management procedures and financial management
7. Support the leadership with business development opportunities.
