Priory Hospital East Midlands is comprised of:
Sapphire Ward - a female psychiatric intensive care unit (PICU)
Quartz Ward - an acute ward for females with a broad range of mental health conditions such as depression, anxiety, stress, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), schizophrenia and personality disorders
Opal Ward - an acute ward for females with a broad range of mental health conditions such as depression, anxiety, stress, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), schizophrenia and personality disorders.
Priory East Midlands Hospital are looking for an experienced Nurse or registered healthcare professional to lead our clinical teams. You will play a key role in the senior management team of the hospital and will deputise for the Hospital Director in their absence. You will support and oversee the clinical structure, including directly line managing our Ward Managers.
You will play a lead role in overseeing all clinical governance processes and will chair the hospitals Clinical Governance Group. You will be a skilled collaborator and negotiator which will enable you to work effectively across all departments.
This is a role that would ideally suit an experienced Ward Manager looking to take their next step in their clinical leadership career. Your previous clinical experience, combined with your experience as a clinical leader will help you as you lead and manage others to guide patients as they progress on their individual treatment journeys. The hospital operates a recovery focused and trauma-informed approach so as to provide support that helps people achieve their goals taking into account their life experiences. This a fast paced role which will be required to tackle multiple challenges simultaneously, which will often be complex in nature requiring you to draw upon your sound clinical, professional and values-led judgement to make decisions.
