> Description Summary of role: We are fast expanding Managed Service Provider supporting health care clients and a variety of businesses in the UK, Republic of Ireland and Europe with over 38 years’ experience in delivering managed IT services to over 2000 clients. Based at our head office in Greenford you will play an integral role in our Workshop team providing support to the Workshop as well as Engineers. You will be responsible for supporting the workshop team in ordering goods as well as supporting the Stock Controller with goods in and despatch and ensuring that all stock systems are kept up to date. You may be expected to carry out field work but this will depend on your performance and on the needs of the business. Duties and Responsibilities: Workshop - Supporting the Workshop Team with arranging deliveries, including deliveries of stock to engineers. Working on serial numbers, configuration, testing and building PC’s Assisting Engineers with hardware and software installations as well as some callouts and completing reports. Working on the Support Desk when instructed Supporting Stock Controller with despatch of goods, booking in items and allocating items to engineers or clients. Field based (when requested) - Perform installations consistent with Company’s standard operation procedures. Refer any outstanding issues to Engineers or Team Leaders Ensure that client is kept up to date with all changes. Essential requirements and skills: Must be educated to GCSE level. Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel Excellent problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and listening skills. Entry Requirements: 3 GCSEs (or equivalent) at grades 4 (A-C) in any subject GCSE Maths and English (or equivalents) at grades 3 (D or above) Prospective apprentices must not hold an existing qualification at the same or higher level as this apprenticeship is in a similar subject You may also have a combination of qualifications and experience which demonstrate the minimum foundation needed for the programme. In this instance you could still be considered for the programme. If you hold international equivalents of the above qualifications, at the time of your application you must be able to provide an official document that states how your international qualifications compare to the UK qualifications.
