Softcat's Cyber Operations Team provides managed cyber security services to a wide variety of customers in many different industries. This includes monitoring systems for threats, checking for weaknesses, responding to attacks, and gathering information about potential dangers.
As a Cyber Operations Apprentice Engineer, you'll be responsible for:
* Configuring security solutions (such as SIEM, Vulnerability Assessment, and MDR tools)
* Speaking to customers to address issues or introduce new features and capabilities
* Participating in reporting and Service Reviews
* Keeping up to date with Cyber news and activities
We'd love you to have:
* A passion for technology and cyber security
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Good organisational and time management skills
* Ability to work as part of a team and independently
* A willingness to learn new things
Entry Requirements:
* A minimum of 5 GCSEs in English & Maths (Level 4/Grade C and above) or A levels, or Level 3 Qualification or relevant experience
* An A-Level or Level 3 qualification in an IT or STEM-based subject
* No previous qualifications (awarded) in any degree/masters/level 4 and above in any discipline
* A current and valid document which proves Right to work in the UK
