Role Overview:
We are looking for a proactive Teaching Assistant to support Key Stage 4 students in their core subjects while managing challenging behaviours. You will help implement strategies that allow students to overcome barriers and achieve their full potential.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide classroom support in key subjects such as English and Maths.
* Assist in managing students' challenging behaviour, using behaviour management strategies.
* Help create and maintain a structured and safe learning environment.
* Work closely with teachers to personalise learning for each student.
* Contribute to students' social, emotional, and academic development.
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
* Experience working with students with SEMH and challenging behaviours.
* Excellent behaviour management and communication skills.
* Ability to work collaboratively with staff and parents.
* Resilience and a calm approach under pressure.
