Children's Home Manager
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Children's Home Manager to oversee the operations of our new residential home, providing a safe and supportive environment for up to four young people.
This is an exciting opportunity to lead a team of staff in delivering high-quality care and preparing young people for independent living. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of the home, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage Operations: Ensure compliance with Quality Standards 2015, foster a supportive environment, and promote partnership working with young people, families, and other stakeholders.
* Leadership and Development: Provide leadership and development opportunities for the staff team, promoting emotional resilience and maturity.
* Regulatory Compliance: Ensure regulatory compliance, including the Children's Homes Regulations 2001, and implement and uphold health and safety standards.
* Budgeting and Staffing: Oversee budgets, staffing, and operational management, driving continuous improvement and maintaining the highest quality of care.
Requirements:
* Qualifications: QCF Level 5 in Childcare or equivalent (e.g., DipSW, NVQ Level 4 in Leadership and Management).
* Experience: At least two years of experience working with children, with one year in a supervisory or management role.
* Knowledge: Familiarity with relevant regulations, including the Children Act 1989, Every Child Matters, and the National Minimum Standards.

* Leadership: Strong leadership and organizational abilities.
* Problem-Solving: Practical and creative problem-solving skills.
Additional Information:
* DBS Check: Enhanced DBS check required.
* Driving License: Full UK driving license essential.
