About the Role:
Customer Service Duties
* Greet customers warmly and create a welcoming atmosphere.
* Answer customer enquiries in person, over the phone, and via email promptly and professionally.
* Manage reservations, appointments, and bookings using our system for all vehicle requirements, such as MOTs and servicing.
* Process transactions accurately, including handling cash and card payments, and complete all necessary cash and banking procedures within the centre.
* Provide timely communication with customers by liaising with the Senior Workshop Technician to establish when customer jobs will be completed and ready for collection.
* Offer information about our services and products, promoting special offers or car care bundles.
* Make recommendations for additional goods and services where appropriate, providing clear quotations.
* Assist the Senior Workshop Technician with ordering and returning parts.
* Drive quality and consistency in customer service to enhance customer retention.
* Ensure transaction and customer satisfaction targets are always met.
* Deliver an outstanding customer experience to every customer or visitor within the centre.
* Manage and assist with customer complaints alongside the Senior Workshop Technician and Customer Care Manager, ensuring a mutually satisfactory outcome that results in customer satisfaction.
* Be responsible for daily opening and closing procedures, always maintaining site security.
* Maintain a clean and organised reception area, including the reception desk, waiting area, and other public spaces.
* Set the standards and expectations of the business by adhering to all company policies and procedures, leading by example, and ensuring all team and personal assessments are completed via our online platform.
* Proactively achieve and/or exceed sales targets and operating budgets within the allocated centre.
* Assist with investigatory or disciplinary matters and any other HR requirements.
* Conduct team meetings, including daily sales updates and business expectations.
* Contribute to centre development and car count, including PR and marketing activities.
* Carry out any other reasonable tasks as requested by the AGM or other senior management members.
