Halcyon Care are seeking Male ad-hoc support workers in the Mid Essex area - shift types are predominately:
· Long days
· Waking nights; and
· Shorter day shifts (earlies and mids)
Training / Requirements include:
· Proven experience with Challenging Behaviour
· Driver (Preferred)
· Ability to undertake practical household tasks/housework and the ability to support people with mobility needs (this may include pushing wheelchairs and using hoists for which reasonable physical fitness will be required)
We are looking for a dynamic support worker for a well known supported living service in the Mid Essex area, this role could lead to full time employment to the right candidate. You will ensure that service users fully experience the highest level of care and respect with personalised support provided in accordance with agreed care plans, enabling service users to enjoy well-being, quality of life and community connections.
You will promote and reinforce a culture of responsive, person-centred practice and active support across the service, with relationships based on respect and care. Your work will be a mixture of shifts on the rota and and you will be required to work across the entire week, including evenings and weekends.
