Your role:
This role is responsible for leading on the key strategic drivers for business growth, focusing on the management of multi-channel integrated campaigns that drive leads into both the PPG and Wes FS business. The job holder will design, deliver and monitor a range of marketing activities across channels that align to the delivery of overall dental targets.
Reporting to the Dental Marketing Communications Manager, the role will work closely with teams across PPG and Wesleyan including the Events & Marketing team, the Design team, Field Support and Financial Adviser teams, external consultants and trusted advisors and media partners as well as leadership teams to design, lead and evolve overarching marketing strategies and campaigns that can then be delivered across all channels.
What you’ll be doing:
* As an integral member of the Dental Communications team, lead and own key strategies from embryonic stage right through to execution and monitoring, managing a full and varied programme of retention and lead generation campaigns that remain sympathetic to the brand guidelines.
* Manage the groups extensive media and content calendar of activity, working collaboratively with the in-house design agency to create and deliver high impact design solutions and content that accurately reflects the brands.
* Work closely with key media partners to negotiate and agree a comprehensive schedule of annual activity that underpins brand value and reputation, provides always on activity and explores new opportunities to test.
* Support the events team with a programme of activity that dials up the volume on brand noise in the run up to and at key strategic events.
* Attend key dental events to capitalise on content generation.
* Establish use of regular customer insight and MI to underpin and inform future recommendations on activity and to develop compelling concepts to engage the user.
* Create engaging and insightful content for a range of mediums to complement your campaigns, working closely with internal content experts to translate into editorial, advertorial, video, podcasting and social content.
* Channel mix will comprise of offline and online channels including, but not limited to, website management, e-shots, social media, advertising, podcasting, printed collateral, events, webinars and digital marketing.
* Manage the delivery of key projects that support the development of key strategic objectives for example Retirement Club.
* Manage approvals of customer-facing marketing collateral utilising the approvals system. Implement regulatory changes to customer-facing material where appropriate.
* Act as brand guardian to ensure consistent application of the group brands at all times.
* Responsible for the management of own risk including the implementation of appropriate controls to ensure strong risk and governance in line with the wider Group’s Risk Management and Compliance policies and procedures.
* Create and deliver any other comms deemed appropriate.
About the context of the role:
* The role sits in the Brand and Communications team and reports to the Dental Brand & Communications Manager.
* Hybrid role with requirement to work at Head Office in Oswestry 2 days a week with the remainder from home.
* Requirement to travel for meetings with agencies, stakeholders and to attend events as needed.
* Key stakeholders include the Design team, Events & Marketing team, Field Support and Financial Advisers WFS, Customer Operations, SRC, Regulatory and Policy (RAP) team and Wesleyan Financial Services colleagues.
About the role’s required skills and behaviour requirements:
* Demonstrable experience in strategic thinking.

* Proven and successful track record in delivering lead and content led marketing activity.
* Experience of end-to-end delivery of integrated campaigns using multiple channels including advertising, media partnerships, digital and print marketing, video, social media, podcast and copy led marketing.
* Strong creative copy writing skills possessing an excellent standard of English both written and oral.
* Ability to develop integrated campaign plans that deliver against targets.
* Excellent project management and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple jobs and workload without losing focus.
* Management of agency and 3rd party supplier relationships.
* Budget management.
* Ability to build and manage relationships with key stakeholders internally and externally.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
