Rolls-Royce Motor Cars, Goodwood - Quality Engineering, Quality Management and Steering- 13 Month Placement (July 2025)
We are responsible for the implementation, maintenance and continuous improvement of the Quality Management System of Rolls-Royce Motor Cars, as well as conducting internal audits (health check on the compliance and performance of the processes and procedures), Conformity of Production testing (ensuring ongoing compliance of our products within the series production phase) and Test Equipment calibration (ensuring measuring/test equipment is fit for purpose). The department influences the business through strategy development, coaching and communication.
Quality Steering is responsible for the implementation, maintenance and continuous improvement of the Rolls-Royce Motor Cars Quality, as well as supporting the introduction of new models and quality enhancements. We develop business strategies that deliver the required quality levels. We ensure that any problems which may impact on our customers, are solved quickly & effectively. The department is steering the problem management process to achieve plant quality targets in a sustainable way.
Our team is seeking 3 placement students to join from July 2025.
What awaits you?
* Support, coordination and management of specific daily tasks and longer term projects.
* Support, analysis and implementation of improvements to the Quality Management System (QMS).
* Support, coordination of Conformity of Production (CoP) and Test Equipment Management.
* Co-ordination and steering of Target Management Process and key performance indicators (KPI's).
* Supporting with the Plant problem management process and coordination of new model topics.
* Supporting the implementation of Quality related processes and improvements to ensure product improvement.
* Support with new vehicle inspection and defect reporting.
Qualifications & Experience:
* Studying a Bachelor's or integrated Master's degree and on track to achieve a 2:2 or above in Engineering, Business Management, or relevant course.
* Strong PC skills with a good working knowledge of MS Office.
* Any knowledge in Quality Management or similar would be an advantage, however not a requirement.
* Knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 is desirable but not essential for this role.
* Able to work as part of a team.
* Use initiative to take tasks and projects from concept through to a complete and implemented solution.
