About the Role:
As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for generating new business opportunities by proactively contacting potential clients. This role requires a confident and persuasive communicator with a strong work ethic and a desire to exceed targets.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Identify and research potential clients within their target market
2. Conduct outbound calls to qualify leads and introduce services
3. Build rapport with prospects and understand their needs
4. Schedule appointments for further discussions
5. Maintain accurate records of all sales activities in the CRM system
6. Collaborate with the company directors to develop and implement effective sales strategies
7. Stay up to date on industry trends and competitor activities
Candidate Attributes and Skills Required:
1. Willing to develop and progress with the role
2. Proven track record of success in outbound sales (preferred, but not essential for the right candidate)
3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
4. Ability to build rapport quickly and establish credibility
5. Highly motivated and target-driven
6. Excellent time management and organizational skills
7. A positive and enthusiastic attitude
