2. DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) Clearance: This post is covered by the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 (Exceptions) Order 1975 (amended in 2013). Appointable candidates will be required to apply for an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check. Information provided by you or the DBS will be dealt with in a confidential manner and in accordance with the DBS Code of Practice.
3. Evidence of conduct in previous employment: Concerned with the provision of services relating to health or social care or children or vulnerable adults.

The role involves visiting disabled citizens in the community to assess and identify equipment and/or minor/major adaptations which will promote their independence and improve their quality of life.
The role requires the successful applicant to be able to drive across the city to meet the demands of the service; you will be entitled to essential car use.
The role involves recording information relating to assessment, completing referrals to other agencies when identified, and carrying out risk assessments in relation to major adaptations such as stair lifts.
Targets and performance are key to ensure we meet the needs of our disabled citizens in a timely and effective manner, so there will be weekly set targets regarding the number of visits you will carry out.
The role involves hybrid working with a minimum of 2 days per week being office-based. The role offers flexible working across core hours.
