Key job responsibilities
* Maintain and follow strict confidentiality as customer privacy is our most important tenet
* Work with a range of different types of data including, but not limited to: text, speech, audio, image, and video
* Deliver high-quality labelled data, using provided guidelines to meet KPIs and utilizing in-house tools and software, as part of Amazon's commitment to responsible AI development
* Demonstrate proficiency in generating high-quality human insight data across modalities such as text, image, video, and audio
* Make sound judgments and logical decisions when faced with ambiguous or incomplete information
* Exhibit an eye for detail and adaptability to switch between different requirement categories instantly
* Support daily operational deliverables for multiple task types within the team
* Analyze root causes, identify error patterns, and propose solutions to improve labeling quality
* Identify and suggest improvements for process and operational issues in SOPs and tools
* Provide floor support to clarify internal queries as needed
A day in the life
As a ML Data Associate, you'll undertake foundational labeling functions such as dialogue evaluation on speech, text, audio, and video data. Your concentration, multi-tasking ability, and attention to detail will help you deliver high-quality work while maintaining confidentiality. Basic Qualifications
* An Associate’s Degree or related work experience
* C1+ or equivalent fluency in English
* Strong business writing skills for reports, proposals, and correspondence
* Advanced reading comprehension for complex documents
* Analytical thinking and structured problem-solving skills
* Ability to interpret and implement detailed instructions
* Proficient research skills for synthesizing information
* Attention to detail in managing complex tasks
Preferred Qualifications
* Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
* 2+ years professional experience with demonstrated task execution
* Experience leveraging open-source resources for research
* Ability to adapt to fast-paced, changing environments
* 2-3 years project coordination or management experience
* Experience managing stakeholder relationships
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and business applications
