At Royal Mail, we’ve served our communities for over 500 years, helping to lead and transform the postal delivery market on a global scale. We’re currently innovating and transforming our business for the future, and to get there, we need exceptionally talented, resilient, and driven people.
The Category Director has overall responsibility for management, leadership, and strategic direction across our fleet and logistics businesses (both domestic and international), ensuring that Royal Mail Group (RMG) stakeholders obtain excellent customer service, best value for money, and compliance with RMG governance. Integral to the role is the requirement to lead the development and subsequent delivery of ambitious and best-in-class category plans for Royal Mail that drive value, improve quality of service, and reduce our scope 3 emissions. Key within this will be the requirement to direct and enable Category Management to support Royal Mail's transformational strategy and plans in a fast-paced, complex, and evolving environment.
Reporting into the Chief Procurement Officer, this is a hybrid working role with a requirement for travel across the network and to attend our Head Office in Farringdon, London, as well as the Midlands Super Hub.
