Line Manager: Transport Manager
Working Hours and Basis: Drivers can typically work between 16-30 hours per week.
Start Date: Immediate - subject to Enhanced DBS Check and References
Mixture of working hours as part of a team to deliver:
* Daily School runs for our Day Pupils - typically 6.45am and 5pm Monday to Friday.
* Take school teams to compete with other schools - regionally and nationally - mainly within the school day.
* Transport for academic field trips and enrichment programmes.
* Transport for medical appointments and A&E visits.
* Airport and Train transfers for our Boarding Pupils returning home or staying with guardians.
* Some weekend working will be required to fulfill some of the above tasks along with weekend recreational activities for our Boarders.
Drivers can typically work between 16-30 hours per week.
Summer School hours operational July to Mid August.
Job Outline and Responsibilities
* Transport pupils to and from school, sports events, airports.
* To build fast positive and professional relationships with pupils, families and Moreton Hall staff.
* To work in an effective, safe, flexible manner and support the ethos of Moreton Hall.
* To keep the vehicle in a clean and tidy manner at all times.
Person Specification
Qualifications
* Full UK Driving Licence - max 6 DVLA Penalty Points
Experience
* Minimum 2 years driving experience.
* Good knowledge of the local area.
Personal Qualities
* You should have a friendly and positive attitude, enjoy working with children, be punctual and reliable.
* Ability to drive various types of vehicles.
* Previous experience would be beneficial but not essential.
Must be over 25 for Fleet Vehicle Insurance reasons.
