We are seeking an experienced teacher to be our relief coordinator at Avonside Girls' High School. The successful candidate would be responsible for all areas of the relief organisation at the school. This would include, but is not limited to, holding the relief phone and taking immediate relief need calls, organising long-term relief ahead of time, managing and growing the relief teachers pool, all administration aspects in Kamar, working with the payroll administrator, filling in for emergency relief and communicating effectively with the DP in charge of relief, teachers and relief teachers.
Avonside is a diverse, multicultural school east of Christchurch. We are proud of our history, values and the academic education we offer for young women. The school is unique in its colocation with a boys' school in a newly built school post earthquake and we have first class facilities. We have a large staff and a significant pool of relief teachers with whom we enjoy working.
