A Lecturer plays the largest part in a student's experience in education. Key Responsibilities: To teach the college programme to students daily and provide high quality learning opportunities to them To provide flexible assessment opportunities and closely plan, monitor, track and record student retention, achievement, and success To contribute to the development and delivery of high quality, relevant curriculum, and pro-grammes, Curriculum Development responsibilities include actively contributing to the development of new programmes and producing annual schemes of work Plan and deliver effective learning programmes for diverse groups or individuals in a safe and inclusive environment Identify and address Mathematics and English needs of learners and work creatively to over-come individual barriers to learning Ensure compliance with Quality standards set by the College and/or Awarding Bodies To be successful in this role, below is what we would need from you: Level 3 or above Brick Qualification Industrial experience Level 5 Teaching Qualification or willing to work towards Ability to meet targets within set timescales Ability to work well in teams but also to work independently, with the minimum of supervision Diversity and Inclusion: Equality, Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion are central to the work of City of Portsmouth College.
