We’re looking for a talented and enthusiastic Junior Content Creator to create content across all our own digital platforms. You will be a budding content creator who has learned (either self-taught or through academic training) a set of skills which mean they can self shoot, edit and design social first assets.

Yoto’s Marketing & Creative Team
The Yoto Creative team sits within the wider global Marketing team. The small, but mighty, team is made up of a Senior Graphic Designer, Midweight Designer, Junior Graphic Designer, Senior Creative Artworker and Creative Studio Coordinator plus freelance and agency support where required - all overseen by our Creative Services Director.
The team works across all Yoto content designs, packaging, marketing campaigns & collateral, across all regions in both print and digital. You will have a hand in most things you see at Yoto! The Creative team brings our Yoto Originals content to life creating the perfect card art to surprise and delight our passionate audience, as well as ensuring that our licensed partner content is always on brand and showcases the exciting world-class licences that we work with.
What you’ll be doing:
You will have a passion for storytelling through imagery and, predominantly, video.
Working within our design team to exclusively support our social team, you will be creating multiple pieces of content each week including reels, stories, TikTok videos, carousels and static posts.
You will be brimming with energy and ideas and feel confident pitching and then executing social first content. You will understand what performs on each platform and bring a social first attitude that ensures all ideas are translated for the audiences across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook and LinkedIn.
* Content Ideation & Creation: work both independently and with the social team to ideate, develop and execute all organic social content (Youtube, TikTok and Instagram). This role will specifically focus on concepting, shooting & delivery of videos & stills content. This includes utilising storytelling techniques to craft compelling narratives across a mix of reactive and planned content
* Production Management : You will be shaping all output on yoto social platforms and managing the workflow (with the support of the Creative Services Director). The right candidate will be able to take initiative, create content planners so all stakeholders have visibility on workflow and feel confident scoping tasks from brief to completion.
* Brand Consistency: ensure all content aligns and adheres to the company’s brand guidelines and maintains consistency across all social platforms.
What you’ll bring:
* 0-2 years of prior experience in a similar content creation role.
* Good knowledge of Adobe CC (especially Indesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, XD and After Effects).
* A competent self-shooter with the ability to film high-quality content: experience using DSLR cameras, smartphones, sound and lighting equipment.
* A tangible knowledge of and hunger to learn more about current and future social trends within the retail and particularly learning and audio space.
* Ability to collaborate with other departments to ensure consistent brand messaging
* Experience juggling concurrent projects and internal stakeholders.
* Excellent organisational skills: be able to manage and organise design files and assets correctly.
* A self starter with a positive “can do” attitude and a good eye for detail.
* A thorough knowledge of social media platforms, algorithms and what drives engagement. A portfolio which demonstrates design execution across digital format.
* Meticulous eye for detail.
* A love for problem solving and dealing with challenges and changes.
* Understanding design specifications across digital formats.
Salary: £25,000 - £27,000 based on experience.
