Positive Employment is currently recruiting for a Recruitment Assistant for our client, a local government organisation in Southampton. The successful candidate will be responsible for administering the end-to-end recruitment process. This is initially a 3-month contract with the possibility to extend after that date. This role is hybrid working, 1 day in the office per week.
Duties and Responsibilities:
* Using in-house e-recruitment system to advertise roles and update candidate details.
* Handling queries from both candidates and managers, providing excellent customer service.
* Supporting hiring managers with recruitment campaigns, shortlisting, interviews, offers, etc.
* Supporting candidates and new starters on their recruitment journey.
* Providing guidance on the process and relevant legislation.
* Ensuring all communication and documentation is sent out accurately and in a timely manner, ensuring deadlines and SLAs are met.
* Conducting and completing pre-employment checks, issuing contracts of employment, and ensuring employee HR and payroll records are updated.
Personal Requirements:
* Certificate in HR Admin or equivalent work experience (recruitment activity/administration in dealing with customers).
* Experience of delivering excellent customer service in a high-volume environment.
* Experience of using e-Systems and social media/internet platforms for recruitment or similar activity.
* Experience of using e-Systems to run basic management reports.
Working Hours: 37hrs / 9:00am - 17:00pm / Monday to Friday
Pay: £16.88 p/h
Please note this role is within the scope of IR35.
