We are looking for a Production Engineer to join our Engineering team at our site in Kidderminster. The candidate would be responsible for providing engineering support and information to our Production departments. Main Duties & Responsibilities: • Support Production departments with technical drawings using Solidworks/AutoCAD • Work with Production to improve processes and efficiency • Use Mechanical Design techniques to stress test components and assemblies using Solidworks • Create and modify 3D assemblies to meet customer and production needs • Create and design new parts and solutions to solve build issues • Support 3rd party manufacturing suppliers with spec and build queries • Support the Engineering Manager on ongoing and new Projects • Support the Engineering Manager on product development • Ensure compliance to industry standards and regulations relating to the products manufactured by the company • Undertake other duties as necessary to meet the needs of the business Person Specification: • Mechanical Engineering Qualification(s) is essential • Minimum 1-year commercial experience • Working knowledge of Solidworks is essential • Good organisational skills, time management and administration skills • Good communication skills • Ability to work both independently and as a team meeting deadlines where needed • Ability to solve problems and follow projects through to conclusions • AutoCAD 2D advantageous • A working understanding of auto-electrics, hydraulics and chassis’ would be advantageous The package on offer is as below Competitive Salary- negotiable based on experience Company Pension Scheme AXA Healthcare Scheme 25 days holiday per annum plus 8 bank holidays Basic Hours- 37 hours a week- Monday to Thursday 8.30am- 4.30pm and Friday 8.30am to 4.00pm For details regarding pay call Isla on (phone number removed)
