Imperial College London Mathematics School is a specialist maths school that opened in September 2023. The school provides a diverse range of young people with access to a unique educational experience. Imperial Maths School is part of the Frontier Learning Trust alongside Woodhouse College. The school is located adjacent to Woodhouse College in Finchley, North London and will move into a new permanent building by early 2027 on the same site. The school offers A levels in Mathematics, Further Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry along with additional A level options from the Woodhouse College curriculum.
We are looking for a motivated and reliable person to provide a range of crucial support to our students, enabling them to thrive at school and beyond. You will be key in supporting students with SEND and will work closely with students who have EHCPs and complex support needs. This includes a sizeable cohort of high-achieving autistic students. As a key member of the pastoral team, you will also support students who are subject to wellbeing or safeguarding concerns by working with their families and with external agencies.
You will work in a warm and inclusive community which is accepting of differences. In your interactions with students, you will uphold these community values at all times and encourage the moral, personal, and professional growth of the students.
This is a term-time-only, part-time role for 20 hours per week, working 10.00 am to 2.00 pm per day (or negotiable).
The salary will be between Points 17 and 19 on the sixth form college support staff salary scale, currently £31,219 and £33,325 plus £3,082 Outer London Weighting pro rata per annum. Therefore, the actual part-time salary would be between £15,881 and £16,856 inclusive per annum, according to experience, with pay award pending.
