Our client is a multi-site leisure business with ambitious expansion plans who are looking to recruit an Interim Finance Director to join their team.
The Role of Finance Director
Reporting to the MD, your duties will include but are not limited to:
1. Day to day management of the finance function
2. Financial lead on leadership team meetings
3. Budgeting and forecasting
4. Monthly management accounts including the month end close process:
1. Closing the sub-ledgers
2. Accruals and prepayments
3. Month end balance sheet reconciliations including WIP
4. Group cash forecasting and management, including group financing arrangements
5. Completion and submission of the quarterly VAT returns and other statutory compliance
6. Preparing and submitting the annual statutory account and associated tax filings
7. Preparation for various high level stakeholder management projects like Due diligence workstreams, preparation for investor/PE days
The Candidate for Finance Director
Must have experience of a fee-based business: Please note this is a client requirement.
1. Qualified Accountant
2. Experience of a PE backed business
3. Self-motivation and being a team player are essential
The role is full time, 5 days per week, and the successful candidate will be expected to be onsite in Liverpool for 3 days. This is a very hands-on role, so will not suit someone looking for an advisory role or a routine 9-5 type position.
