Qualifications
Education: Associate Degree
Credentials: NM Radiography Tech. Requires Completion of ARRT (R) or NMTCB Certification within 1 year after graduation. Candidates who are selected for the position must sign an agreement to obtain this credential.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities:
1. Maintains established policies, procedures, objectives and quality assurance, quality control, safety and MQSA standards.
2. Prepares written documentation as required by profession and department; maintains follow up care on post biopsy patients and post-surgical patients.
3. Performs radiographic examinations and all mammography examinations (e.g. screening, diagnostic, localization, biopsies).
4. Maintains equipment, supplies, and a clean and orderly area.
5. Develops films including evaluating film for technical quality.
6. Enhances professional growth and development through participation in educational programs, current literature, in-service meetings, and workshops.
7. Attends meetings as required.
