Job Description
Themis Recruit is looking for a Property Disputes Solicitor for an international Law Firm.
The successful candidate will handle a variety of property-related disputes, providing expert legal advice and representation to clients. The ideal candidate will have substantial experience in property litigation, exceptional analytical abilities, and a proactive approach to managing complex legal issues.
Key Responsibilities
* Case Management: Handle a diverse caseload of property disputes, including landlord and tenant disputes, boundary issues, leasehold disputes, and property contract disputes.
* Legal Advisory: Provide clear and practical legal advice to clients on a wide range of property-related issues.
* Litigation and Dispute Resolution: Represent clients in court, tribunals, and alternative dispute resolution forums, including mediation and arbitration.
* Document Preparation: Draft and review legal documents, including pleadings, witness statements, and settlement agreements.
* Client Relations: Maintain strong relationships with clients, keeping them informed of case progress and advising on potential outcomes and strategies.
* Negotiation: Negotiate settlements and agreements on behalf of clients to resolve disputes efficiently and effectively.
* Research: Conduct thorough legal research to support case preparation and strategy.
* Compliance: Ensure all actions comply with relevant laws and regulatory requirements.
* Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with colleagues across the firm, contributing to the development and success of the property disputes team.
Requirements
* Education: Qualified solicitor.
* Experience: Minimum of 4 years of post-qualification experience in property disputes or property litigation.
* Expertise: Strong knowledge of property law and litigation procedures. Experience in both residential and commercial property disputes is preferred.
