Main duties of the job
The duties and responsibilities of the post holder require service delivery in a wide range of clinical environments as well as to a diversity of patient presentations and will involve lone working in particular areas or specialities and at particular times. The service is delivered on a shift basis, working 7:45am - 8pm 7 days a week. The post is a rotational radiographer post, rotating through CT, MRI and x-ray, both static and mobile units.

Person Specification
Education & professional Qualifications
* DCR (R) or BSc Diagnostic Radiography
* HCPC registration
* IV Cannulation Certificate
Experience
* Knowledge and experience with NHS Targets and Care pathways
* Experience in specialised imaging techniques such as CT, Interventional Radiology/Cardiology
* Experience using PACS and RIS and an understanding of its significance for good service management and patient care
* Experience dealing with a diverse range of patient presentations
* Experience of performing Quality Assurance tests and management of a robust QA program
Skills and aptitudes
* Ability to work independently and also within a team
* Ability to prioritise and organise demands and multi-task.
* Willing to take direction and learn from more experienced colleagues
* IV Cannulation experience and administration of Contrast
* Demonstrate a sound understanding of cross sectional anatomy
Personal Qualities & attributes
* Keen interest and understanding of a range of current and future imaging techniques and practices
* Demonstrate a respect for and commitment to patient care and safety
