This role focuses on supporting young people with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, including those with Autism and challenging behaviours. It is a fantastic opportunity to positively influence students' development, with the potential to secure a permanent position following a successful trial day.

- Support classroom staff in maintaining positive behaviour both in lessons and during 1:1 interventions.
- Build strong, trusting relationships with students and act as a positive role model.
- Encourage students' self-esteem, resilience, and independence by promoting personal and academic achievement.
- Plan and deliver targeted interventions for pupils requiring additional SEMH support.
- Monitor and track pupil progress, sharing feedback with teaching staff and contributing to support plans.
- Adaptable and proactive individuals who can confidently support students in a variety of classroom settings, both indoors and outdoors.
- A caring and responsive approach, with a passion for helping young people overcome barriers to learning.
- Strong relationship-building skills, fostering positive interactions with both staff and students.
- Previous experience working with Special Educational Needs (SEN), particularly SEMH and Autism, is highly desirable.
