An exciting opportunity has been created for a Nurse Non-Medical Prescriber working in South Kent Coast.
The post holder must hold a relevant prescribing qualification and some experience in prescribing is desirable but not essentially needed as KMPT offers a brilliant prescribing network that is robustly governed and supports staff working in this field of nursing.

The nurse will need to hold a qualification as a Non-Medical Prescriber and will be undertaking independent prescribing practice working alongside the medical team within MHT and MHT+.
The post holder will be expected to provide assessment and treatment, including the prescribing of medications. The role will focus on working in the outpatient clinics working alongside the Consultant psychiatrists, reviewing, initiating and adjusting medication.
The post holder will be an experienced Non-medical Prescriber with specialist knowledge and be able to provide advice to GPs and other relevant professionals and service users on mental health medications.
The post holder will contribute to governance and audit, ensuring that service delivery focuses on the quality agenda and that dignity, privacy, and respect is afforded at all times to service users.
The post holder must hold a full, valid, UK driving licence and have access to a car/vehicle to use for business purposes (unless you have a disability as defined by the Equality Act 2010).
