Job Description As a Senior Corporate Underwriter, you will work as a part of our high performing Corporate Lending team, you will be responsible for assessing and underwriting corporate real estate cases within the Commercial Finance business. As a Senior Corporate Underwriter, we are looking for someone to: Evaluate and analyse credit and portfolio risk for both new and existing Customers, proactively managing a pipeline of cases, ensuring that all activity is fully notated to deliver exceptional service levels Ensure that new and existing loan applications are granted in line with the risk appetite of the Group Present & recommend loan applications to Credit Committee and formally approve loans at funding in-line with your designated mandate authority Build strong relationships with key stakeholders across internal sales colleagues, intermediary partners and corporate customer Present an efficient and professional image of the Company in all communication with customers, intermediaries and third parties to ensure we provide excellent customer service Provide ongoing feedback and coaching to colleagues to improve the overall quality of new lending submissions Effectively use MI to monitor and analyse performance, identifying trends and taking corrective steps to improve future business submissions through constructive feedback Continuously review operational processes across the department so that areas of improvement are identified to maximise efficiency Qualifications Essential Commercial underwriting experience across both residential and commercial property types Held a lending mandate of at least £1m Experienced at presenting to & influencing at Exec level Experience of managing key internal and external relationships Additional Information Benefits working at Together 26 days holiday, and a day off for your birthday (increasing with service to 30 days), plus bank holidays Buy & sell holidays Discretionary annual bonus Matched pension contribution Life assurance Critical illness cover Health cash plan Private medical insurance Free access to company holiday homes Travel season ticket loans Ride to work scheme Free local gym access Local bar / restaurant discounts Together Money embraces diversity and inclusion, and are proud to be an equal opportunity workplace.
