An inclusive culture that invests in you and gives you access to opportunities where you can grow your career and make a difference.\n\nThe programme\n\nYouâll spend your first year completing your foundation training at Glasgow Clyde College in Glasgow which will give you a broad understanding of manufacturing engineering principles. Alongside job-specific training courses youâll get to study for a BEng degree at Strathclyde University on day release.\n\nFrom your second year, youâll embark on a series of six-month placements in our Inchinnan business alongside your degree studies.\n\n What youâll do\n\nAcross your apprenticeship youâll gain practical knowledge in areas such as introducing new products, controlling change and continuously improving existing manufacturing processes, acquiring new technology, implementing digital manufacturing solutions and interfacing with suppliers. Alongside this, youâll learn how to manage projects and costs, how to design and validate manufacturing processes, solve engineering problems, and implement quality assurance methods. What you'll need\n\nFive National 5s or equivalent at grade C or above, which must include Maths and English.\n4 Highers at grade B or above, which must include Maths.\nIf you have equivalent qualifications, please contact us.\n\nEvery bit as important as your academic achievements, however, are the personal qualities you bring to the role.
