AREA SUPERVISOR - HEALTHCARE
Salary: £12.59 per hour
Working Hours: Permanent, Full Time, 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday working 7.5 hour shifts between 6am and 7:30pm

G4S Facilities Management are recruiting an Area Supervisor on a full time, permanent basis based in Norwich.
We are looking for a reliable and enthusiastic individual with excellent leadership skills to join our team.
This is an exciting opportunity to learn and develop where you will be responsible for the planning, supervision and control of the day-to-day Healthcare soft Services, ensuring that service delivery meets with the required service standards within designated areas of control.
This role requires a driving licence.
Key Responsibilities will include:
Develop good relationships with the client, in order to ensure satisfaction with our service and that any problems and issues are rectified appropriately.
Provide regular reports to management on aspects of the service as agreed.
Support the team, taking responsibility for training and development and maintenance of expectations related to all people management aspects.
Supervise, assist and provide cover where necessary to Cleaning, Portering and Catering staff.
Support the cleaning team in continually reviewing operational procedures to maximize customer satisfaction.
Manage Rota’s to meet fluctuations in staffing levels/customer requests including covering of absence.
Keep up-to-date with equipment, materials and methods of working by attending training courses, reading journals and working on new methods and ideas.
Prepare the wages schedule, timesheet and Kronos information for staff.
Control the recruitment, selection and induction process related to Cleaning and Portering staff in line with the department's budget.
Comply with the requirements of the Health and Safety at Work Act and Emergency procedures as required.
Carry out regular audits on the Cleaning and Portering service to ensure that contractual standards are being met.

IT literate with experience of Google platforms.
Excellent ability to follow instructions.
Excellent People, Customer Service and Communication Skills.
Team Player, with the ability to work under your own initiative.
Full clean UK Driving Licence.
