The Role…
As a Community Talent Scout, you will play a vital role in building and maintaining relationships with stakeholders to increase and develop a pipeline of learners.
What you can expect in a Community Talent Scout role at althaus:
* Identifying and engaging with job centres, faith groups, and community organizations to recruit learners to Althaus courses.
* Hosting information days and providing a personalized service to referral partners, ensuring potential learners receive exceptional information and guidance.
* Collaborating closely with the Learner Engagement Manager to develop and implement community engagement strategies specific to your region.
* Working alongside the marketing team to develop and execute targeted campaigns, utilizing social media platforms to raise awareness and attract learners.
* Providing consultative advice to manage learner needs and expectations, ensuring they are enrolled in the most suitable course based on eligibility criteria.
* Collaborating with colleagues in community engagement and learner recruitment to achieve department targets and contribute to Althaus’ strategic goals.
* Ensuring accurate record-keeping and maintenance of databases and CRM systems.
* Keeping up to date with changes and developments within funding rules, staying informed about Althaus Digital’s products and services.
* Utilising various communication platforms to generate engagement opportunities and promote Althaus Digital at learner recruitment events.
Your areas of knowledge and expertise that matter most for this role…
* Previous experience in community engagement, learner recruitment/ attraction, or a related field is highly desirable.
* Exceptional relationship-building and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with diverse stakeholders.
* Strong organizational skills with attention to detail, ensuring administrative duties and data management are accurate and up to date.
* Proactive and results-oriented mindset with the ability to meet targets and contribute to the team’s success.
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to provide consultative advice and present information effectively.
* Familiarity with social media platforms and marketing campaigns is advantageous.
* A commitment to continuous learning and professional development, with the aspiration to obtain a CIAG qualification within six months of employment (if not already attained).

This is a hybrid role and will require travel to HQ (East Midlands) once a week, whilst networking in Derby (East Midlands) 3 or 4 days per week.
