The Role
As a Business Development Executive, you will support Nitex’s growth by identifying new business opportunities, nurturing leads, and contributing to relationship-building with fashion brands. This is a hands-on, high-impact role for someone early in their sales career who’s eager to grow with a fast-paced, ambitious team.
What You’ll Do
* Identify and connect with emerging fashion brands and designers who need premium manufacturing solutions.
* Manage early-stage client interactions, supporting outreach, discovery calls, and follow-ups.
* Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified leads through market research and outreach campaigns.
* Assist in presenting Nitex’s services to prospective clients and respond to initial inquiries.
* Collaborate with the Business Development Manager and internal teams to align customer needs with Nitex’s capabilities.
* Track, organize, and update CRM data to ensure accuracy in reporting and forecasting.
* Participate in industry events and trade shows to build awareness and gather insights.
* Stay informed on fashion and supply chain trends, using insights to inform outreach strategies.
Who You Are
* 1–3 years of experience in sales, business development, or customer-facing roles—ideally in fashion, textiles, or B2B environments.
* A natural relationship builder with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Curious and coachable with a desire to grow and learn in the fashion and manufacturing space.
* A self-starter who thrives in dynamic environments and isn’t afraid to take initiative.
* Comfortable working with CRM platforms, email campaigns, and outreach tracking.
* Passionate about fashion, supply chain innovation, and customer experience.
* A proven track record of closing deals and growing revenue in a sales or partnerships environment.
* A self-starter with a hunter mentality, eager to prospect and close new business deals.
* Excellent communicator with strong negotiation and relationship-building skills.
* Experience managing a sales pipeline and using CRM tools to track and optimize outreach.
* Passionate about fashion, supply chain, and manufacturing with an understanding of production processes.
* Comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment, adapting to changes and taking ownership of key initiatives.
Nice to Have
* Existing network in the fashion industry (brands, retailers, designers).
* Experience with fashion supply chain operations or product sourcing.
* Knowledge of sustainable and ethical manufacturing practices.
