We're looking for a Seasonal HGV Driver to join our Transportation team based in Wymondham.

Hours: 40 hours per week – Fixed term contract: April 2023 – September 2023
Rate: £15.50 to £16.00 per hour plus bonuses & overtime

What will you be responsible for?
As a Seasonal HGV Driver, you'll work within the Surface Dressing team, supporting them in clearing storage areas with a grab (HGV), performing standard daily vehicle checks, and engaging in effective communication with the Supervisor or Foreman.
Your day-to-day responsibilities include:
* Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, including the use of personal protective equipment and traffic management procedures, and communicating with team members and supervisors to coordinate work and resolve issues.
* Driving an HGV, assisting with loading and unloading materials, tools, and equipment, and maintaining written and electronic records.
* Helping with the safe and efficient operation of excavators and other heavy equipment, adhering to company policies and procedures, including timekeeping and attendance.
* Recording and reporting incidents or accidents on site, and maintaining the cleanliness and functionality of equipment and vehicles.
* Assisting with the setup and breakdown of work sites, and completing any other tasks assigned by the Supervisor.
What are we looking for?
This role is ideal if:
* You hold a full Class C or Class CE driving licence (depending on the role) and a valid Driver Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC) card.
* You have experience in a similar role, such as construction or labouring, with good knowledge of health and safety regulations, strong communication and teamwork skills, and a current CSCS card.
* You are willing to learn new skills, work in shifts, and be available for overtime when required.
