Type: Full Time (37.5 hrs) | Temporary (approx. 2 months, starting ASAP)
Pay: Approx. £13.50 per hour
Location: Shepton Mallet property, working out of the office there
Shifts: Participation in a rostered system, with shifts between 08:00 AM and 20:00 PM, including weekends
Responsibilities - Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of individuals experiencing homelessness? We are seeking a dedicated Supported Housing Worker to join our team in Shepton Mallet. Your key responsibilities will include:
* Delivering high-quality off the street accommodation for individuals rough sleeping across Mendip.
* Providing clients with advice, information, and an enabling service to support their journey towards independence.
* Signposting clients to access appropriate services and resources.
* Conducting holistic assessments for clients and developing support plans that align with their individual goals.
What We Are Looking For - The ideal candidate will have:
* An understanding of the causes of homelessness and social exclusion.
* 6 months experience working with complex and/or challenging individuals.
* A valid UK driving license and access to their own vehicle (business insurance required for roles involving travel for work).
* Right to Work in the UK.
