Key Responsibilities: Housekeeping: Maintain the cleanliness and tidiness of the family home to a high standard. Perform general cleaning duties, including vacuuming, dusting, and sanitising. Manage laundry and ironing, ensuring clothes are clean, pressed, and well-organised. Assist with running errands, such as food shopping and other household needs. Oversee contractors as needed for home maintenance and repairs. Childcare: Collect the two children (aged 13 and 10) from school and supervise them until the parents return. Offer light supervision and engage with the children during free time, ensuring their well-being and safety. Foster a positive and nurturing environment in the home. Cooking: Prepare nutritious, balanced family meals and cater to any dietary needs or preferences. Plan and organise family meals, from breakfast to dinner, with an emphasis on healthy eating. Assist with meal preparation for special events or occasions as needed. Pet Care: Care for two cats, ensuring they are fed, groomed, and their litter trays are maintained. Feed and care for a pet pig (this is desirable but not essential), including any feeding and maintenance tasks related to this unique family pet. Essential Skills & Qualities: Proven experience in a similar role, ideally in a private household. Excellent communication skills and a friendly, approachable manner.
