Job Description:
Overview of the role:
* This role involves supporting the delivery of customer solutions for testing vehicle production lines, working directly with customers and collaborating with the development team, suppliers, and engineering departments.
Detailed Activities:
* Analyzing customer requirements to derive technical solutions.
* Developing accurate estimates for proposed solutions.
* Designing and developing system and sub-system components.
* Debugging legacy code to resolve defects.
* Following Bosch Quality Assurance Processes and participating in technical reviews.
* Working on products such as VCATS Server, VCATS GRADE-X Eclipse IDE, and vehicle protocols.
Qualifications:
* Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical/Electronic, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related fields.
* At least 2 years of experience in the automotive industry and technology.
* Proven experience in software development across all SDLC stages.
* Skills in Java SE, Eclipse PDE, C++/C#, RESTful web services, Jenkins, Maven, JUnit, Docker, and version control systems.
* Excellent communication and team collaboration skills.
Desirable skills:
* Experience with unit testing frameworks, build environments, C++/WPF, Visual Studio, Windows development, XML, JavaScript, AngularJS, REACT, ASP.NET MVC, SSL, SQL, WiX, Python, Linux.
Education and Experience:
* Bachelor’s or Master’s in relevant disciplines.
* Minimum 2 years in automotive and technology sectors.
Additional Information:
* Travel within the UK and abroad (10-20%).
